I’d like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Dr. Aguirre’s office for performing the most sensitive procedures a woman can have! I initially went to see Dr. Aguirre for a cosmetic vaginal ‘spruce up’. I felt that giving birth and aging to the ripe age of 47 was changing the way things looked and felt ‘down there’. So I was ready to give myself the gift of a partial Mommy Makeover.
From the minute I entered the office for my initial consultation (completely nervous), Dr. Aguirre and his staff made me feel SO comfortable and relaxed. Most of the procedures they perform are sensitive emotionally for a woman in a very private area, so physical and emotional comfort is key.
After a thorough exam, Dr. Aguirre determined that the most effective procedures for me would be a labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction, along with a rectocele repair (to fix a rectocele that had been an issue for 16 years since my daughter was born). He delicately explained that the combination of procedures would make the vaginal area prettier and more youthful (thus addressing the cosmetic side of things), and the rectocele repair would prevent discomfort and worsening of that condition (addressing the medical portion).
The staff I had the most contact with were Brandy, Jackie, and Wendy; they were all SOOO sweet. They made me extremely comfortable emotionally and physically and went out of their way to make sure I was certain about my choices. They talked me through my nerves and we even discussed how I was meditating and using lots of positive affirmations before the surgery. I’m certain that’s one of the reasons I had a very positive outcome and speedy recovery.
