“At the age of 35, the birth of my first child left me with severe urinary incontinence which changed my life forever. I could no longer do all of the things that were so important to me. The simplest tasks became difficult and my self esteem and quality of life rapidly declined. At such a young age, I found it difficult to talk to people (even close friends) about the problems I was experiencing. I felt humiliated and depressed. He gave me a Medtronic Interstim Implant for the urge incontinence and put a sling under my bladder for the stress incontinence.
