He stated, “Aguirre Specialty Care specializes in the surgical correction of pelvic issues such as incontinence and prolapse.” Dr. Aguirre said his practice works with women of all ages. “Some women come in with incontinence in their 20’s. [My patients] can be younger women in their 30’s and even grandmas who are 70- and 80-year-olds.” When asked about the cosmetic aspect of his practice, Dr. Aguirre explained that he addresses anything from vaginal looseness to appearance, and that these concerns are common among women. Dr. Aguirre explained, “[In addition to] laser vaginal tightening, there’s also more cosmetic work we do, like labiaplasty. Women will come in with vaginal looseness but they will also have aesthetic concerns with how they look.”
Dr. Aguirre spoke to host, Randy Alvarez, about the professional satisfaction he feels from helping transform his patients’ lives though vaginal rejuvenation procedures. He said, “When women come back after a labiaplasty, (the aesthetic surgical enhancement of the vulvar structures, labia minora, labia majora, mons pubis, perineum and introitus), they’re beaming. They are smiling from eye to eye, they’re hugging the staff and they’re hugging me. They can’t wait to just move on.”
The host wrapped up the show by asking what the next step is for a woman considering vaginal rejuvenation. Dr. Aguirre suggested that she come into his office for a consultation, and added that the person may bring a spouse or a friend. During the consultation, Dr. Aguirre will listen to the patient, take a very detailed history, perform a medical exam, and then recommend a solution.
