54 yo mother of three from Longmont, Colorado located the office of Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and renowned Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Oscar Aguirre of Denver, Colorado, from an internet search on Vaginal Rejuvenation. She has a 4 year history of pelvic pressure and heaviness, but also has been bothered by the aesthetic appearance of her vulva since her early 40s. She describes loose skin and large labia that are bothersome to her aesthetically and functionally. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination which revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation as well as excess ptotic prepuce. There is also labia majora laxity and deflation contributing to a marked aged appearance. There is a Stage II rectocele with otherwise excellent anterior and apical support; however, distally there are torn pelvic floor muscles. All history and findings were discussed in detail as well as all her surgical and nonsurgical options. She decided to move forward with scheduling in-office aesthetic vulvar surgery. Dr. Aguirre performed Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of Labia Minora, Labia Majora Reduction, Clitoral Hood Reduction and Clitoropexy with PRP to surgical wounds. She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop appointments, very pleased with her results. At this time she does not have a sexual partner and thus will postpone scheduling her Vaginal Reconstruction until she is sexually active again.
