18 yo female college student with a greater than five-year history of undesired appearance of her vulva was referred to the office of master cosmetic surgeon and nationally renowned Urogynecologist Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre by her Primary Care Physician. Since middle school she has been bothered by her large labia minora and over the past year this has contributed to worsening discomfort, especially with wearing form-fitting clothing. Dr. Aguirre performed a pelvic examination with a chaperone and her mother present. The exam revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation. There is also a large ptotic prepuce and excess perineal skin. Following the exam the patient and her mother were taken back to a consultation room where all history and findings along with all surgical and nonsurgical options were discussed in detail. Dr. Aguirre recommended in-office aesthetic vulvar surgery to which she is an excellent candidate for. She desired to move forward with surgery as recommended. Dr. Aguirre performed in-office Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of the Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy, and Excision of Excess Perineal Skin.  She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop appointments happy with her healing and her results.
