27 yo woman from Broomfield, Colorado located the office of Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and renowned Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Oscar Aguirre of Denver, Colorado through an internet search on Labia Reduction. She has a greater than 10-year history of undesired cosmetic appearance of her vulva. She first noticed very large labia at puberty, and it has since become more bothersome in her late 20s. She has discomfort with form-fitting clothing and is also very bothered by labial pulling and dragging during sex. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination which revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation as well as redundant lateral prepuce bilaterally with excess perineal skin and anal tag. She was found to be an excellent candidate for in-office, awake aesthetic vulvar surgery, which she is in favor of, after discussing all surgical and nonsurgical options. Dr. Aguirre performed Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction with PRP to surgical wounds, and Excision of Excess Perineal Skin. She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop visits, very happy with the results and feeling great.
