32 yo mother of three from Loveland, Colorado found Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and renowned cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Oscar Aguirre through an internet search. She states that her lips are long and uncomfortable and she’s uncomfortable with them. She has a lifelong history of undesired appearance of her vulva. Since puberty she has been bothered by her large labia, but this became worse following her pregnancies. She now feels that they are longer and darker and affect her confidence with intimacy and comfort with exercise and formfitting clothing. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination with patient’s husband present and patient observing with a hand held mirror. The examination revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation and redundant lateral prepuce with ptosis. There is also four perineal skin tags/condyloma, which are bothersome to her. After discussing all surgical and non-surgical options with patient and her husband, she decided to proceed with definitive surgical therapy. Dr. Aguirre performed an in-office Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of the Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to surgical site as well as Excision of Anal and Perianal Skin Tags. She followed up in the office for her regularly scheduled postop appointments expressing how happy she was with her results.
