24 yo female from Glendale, Colorado who has been unhappy with the aesthetic appearance of her vulva for years, was self-referred to Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. Oscar Aguirre through an internet search on vaginal reconstruction. She has been bothered by excess skin in the vaginal area since the age of 20. She feels it is hard to fit into some clothing and she is unhappy with the appearance of long labia. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination and she was found to have severe labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation as well as redundant lateral prepuce and excess perineal skin. After discussing all surgical and non-surgical options, she was eager to move forward with scheduling definitive surgery. Dr. Aguirre performed, in an in-office surgical setting, Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction, Excision of Excess Perineal Skin and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to surgical wounds.
