49 yo female from Aurora, Colorado searched the internet for Labiaplasty and found Urogynecologist and internationally renowned cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Oscar Aguirre. During her entire adulthood, she has been bothered by the aesthetic appearance of her large labia. Over the past 15 years this has become more noticeable with experiencing severe pain while sitting or riding a bicycle. She is very self-conscious about the appearance of her labia largely in part to conversations she has overheard from male friends referencing “bat wings” and “old vaginas” that women develop as they age. She has not been intimate for many years because of comments from her previous partner. After a great amount of thought into her aesthetic vulvar concerns, she has been committed to surgery for some time now. Following a thorough exam and consent from the patient, Dr. Aguirre performed, in an office surgery setting, Labiaplasty of Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy and Excision of Excess Perineal Skin. She returned to the office very happy with her results.
